ELECTIONS

Rural municipalities hold an election for selected divisions every two years; however, each council member holds office for a four-year term. The most recent election was held on November 13, 2024 for the Reeve and Councillors for Divisions 1, 3 and 5.

The next general election will be held in November 2026 for the offices of Councillors for Divisions 2, 4 and 6.

2026 NOTICE OF CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF VISCOUNT NO. 341

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that nomination of candidates for the offices of:

COUNCILLOR FOR DIVISION NO. 2

COUNCILLOR FOR DIVISION NO. 4, and

COUNCILLOR FOR DIVISION NO. 6

will be received by the undersigned at the RM of Viscount No. 341 office, located at 215 Bangor Ave. during normal office hours until Wednesday, October 7^th, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. local time.

Nomination forms may be obtained from the RM office.
